High-Throughput Molecular Biology at the HTBC

The HTBC offers high-throughput molecular biology screening with its human libraries of:

1. cDNA clones from the Human ORFeome Collection, and;

2. The siARRAY whole human genome siRNA library from Dharmacon (of which we are a member of the Genome-Wide RNAi Global Initiative (press release)

3. Additional High-Throuhgput Molecular Biology Services include; 96-well plasmid DNA purifications using the Qiagen BioRobot 3000 (pictured below, big pic), and other high-throughput molecular biological techniques.

siRNA Screen Application

Call for siRNA screens Proposal Flier (from October, 2006)

**See videos of our Velocity11 robot performing an RNAi transfection.**

Video 1 : Daughter siRNA plate generation

Video 2 : Distribution of siRNA to assay plates (cells are then added for a reverse transfection)

Please contact us if you would like information on either of these high-throughput molecular biology reagents and/or services.
